IT Manager (Senior Project Manager) – Grade 8/Permanent
As part of Technology and Information Services, you will lead a function to deliver a key element of the IT Service at the University of Plymouth. This Senior Project Manager role will lead IT project delivery for the University, with responsibility for project managing complex IT projects, and managing a small team of technical project managers to collectively plan and deliver the full portfolio of IT projects. Project Management experience in a technical environment and a broad range of skills across IT Management is required.

You will require a background in IT, including some leadership experience and a successful track record in IT Delivery. Full lifecycle project management experience is required for the Senior Project Manager role, and experience working with key technology platforms.
This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
SRS Project Managers x2 – Grade 7/Fixed Term
We are delighted to be recruiting as part of the Student Record System (SRS) project. This is a major transformation project focused on improving processes to ensure that the new system enables the University of Plymouth to offer an excellent experience to both staff and students. The University has procured SITS by Tribal as the new SRS and we are currently delivering the first release of the project, whilst planning and designing the next phase.
As a Project Manager your primary responsibility will be provision of project management support for business process change within the SRS Programme, ensuring that products delivered are customer focused, cost effective and efficient, and contribute towards the successful overall delivery of the SRS Programme.
These are full-time positions working 37 hours per week on a fixed-term basis until 31 December 2025 due to business demand.
