We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, well-organized individual to the post of Senior Information Adviser (Library Systems), who will work under the direction of a Service Operations Manager and contribute to the delivery of a customer focused, cost effective and efficient library and digital support service.
Based at the Charles Seale-Hayne Library (at our City Centre campus) you will provide a broad range of systems development, support, training and process improvements for the in-place and emerging library systems and associated services. You will also play a key role in evaluating, configuring, implementing, and integrating software and technologies that align with our services.
Duties and responsibilities include:
You will need to have effective communication skills, experience of working both independently and as part of a team, sharing skills and knowledge to develop others and/or providing training. You will have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail with good IT skills, a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (in particular, Microsoft Excel), SQL and system administration. Plus, a demonstrable enthusiasm and skillset regarding the interrogation, analysis and visualization of data, using a variety of applications e.g., SQL, Power BI, Oracle OBIEE.
You may be asked to contribute to the delivery of services in other operational areas of the library as required. You will be able to work both collaboratively and independently, prioritizing workloads and deadlines to meet demands.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 37 hours a week.
