About the role
The Faculty of Health wishes to appoint a creative and highly motivated individual experienced in administration to work within a customer focused, cost effective and efficient administrative support service. Working closely with the Assistant Faculty Registrar (Quality) and the Associate Deans for Education and Student Experience, you will be part of the professional services support team overseeing all aspects of the Faculty’s quality assurance processes, including programme approval and quality monitoring processes.
You will work with the team to ensure continuing adherence with regulatory body requirements, for example the HCPC, GMC, GDC, NMC, as well as internal University academic regulations and procedures in the context of programme approval and development.
What we’re looking for
You will have experience working at a senior or administrator level and be able to demonstrate relevant experience of giving advice on and managing complex processes. In addition, you will have managed computerised record systems and used reporting tools to provide management information.
You will be expected to have proven communication, as well as excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. You will need to evidence your ability to manage a small team and be adaptable to the demands of working in an area of rapid change and development.
Ordinarily the post will be located at InterCity Place, on the main campus of University of Plymouth, Plymouth. Travel to the North Plymouth Campus may be required on occasion.
This is a part-time position working 22.2 hours per week on a permanent basis.
Remote working is available up to 1 day a week.
