About the role
You will contribute to a range of teaching, learning and assessment activities across our occupational therapy programmes. This will include preparing and delivering teaching, supporting module delivery, marking assessments, providing academic and personal tutoring, and supervising student research projects.
The role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the development of future occupational therapists. It is also a busy and varied academic post that requires effective organisation, clear communication and a willingness to engage with the full range of responsibilities involved in university teaching.
You will work closely with colleagues across the occupational therapy team and wider School, contributing to a positive learning environment and supporting students to develop the knowledge, skills and professional behaviours required for contemporary practice.
There will also be opportunities to contribute to the practice placement elements of the programme, helping learners to make links between theory and practice and prepare for their future careers.
All new members of the team receive a structured induction and ongoing support to develop the skills, confidence and knowledge required to succeed in the role.
