About the role
We are seeking to recruit a new Head of IT Product Development and Delivery (ITPDD) within our central IT function, Technology and Information Services (TIS). As part of the Senior Leadership team within TIS, you will lead a function responsible for a range of IT services to the University, its staff, students and partners. TIS aims to deliver IT that works exceptionally well, increases digital capabilities for staff and students, and provides a seamless end-to-end digital experience for all our stakeholders.
As Head of ITPDD you will:
You should be a practitioner in ITIL version 3, PRINCE2 and/or Agile with demonstrable practical experience of managing teams within these environments.
For this role, you will need to be on site 2 days a week. Although we can accommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.

What we’re looking for
A strong understanding of the business processes that underpin an organisation focusing on the role of information provision will be required, along with a good knowledge of contemporary software industry techniques and trends. You will have an expert knowledge of business systems and operational processes across all platform environments.
