We are seeking a talented developer who can contribute to the continued development of high quality digital resources and tools to support learning, teaching and assessment across the University of Plymouth's Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry (FoMD).
You will work as part of the TELMeD (Technology Enhanced Learning for Medicine and Dentistry) team and will be required to design, develop, integrate and maintain electronic resources in association with academic, clinical and other staff, for use in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. TELMeD's overarching mission is to research, develop, embed and advance innovative cost-effective technologies to enhance learning and support teaching within the faculty.
The work involved in this post is expected to focus heavily upon web development although there is also potential to work on the production of eLearning packages, the Digital Learning Environment (Moodle) and 3D development for the purposes of exploring virtual and augmented reality for teaching and learning.
You will have a relevant degree, and/or have significant demonstrable experience of learning technologies and development. Essential skills include programming, problem solving and creative skills that can be applied in developing eLearning solutions.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a fixed-term basis for 12 months due to funding.
Interviews are expected to take place in the first or second week of December 2018.
