Exciting opportunity for a new ResearchTechnician in our Brain Tumour Centre of Excellence in Plymouth.
The centre currently hosts three research groups with about 25 researchers including PhD students working in state-of-the-art facilities:

Our aims are to understand the biology of brain tumours and translate our findings to make an impact for patients. The facilities have a laboratory manager, experienced research technicians and a senior cell culture technician as well as additional research support staff. Our centre also hosts a large biobank of brain tumours.

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Research Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. This role combines hands-on laboratory work with essential administrative responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who thrives in both scientific and office-based environments.

What we offer:
This is a part-time position working 33 hours per week on a fixed-term basis for 2.5 years due to funding, with a possible 2-year extension.
