The Faculty of Science and Engineering has an exciting vacancy for a Faculty Registrar who supports the Head of Faculty Operations in leading the Faculty professional service team.
Working as part of the Faculty senior professional service management team, the Faculty Registrar is responsible for strategically leading, managing and crucially developing the delivery of the academic and student administrative functions within the Faculty.
The Faculty Registrar is responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day academic and student administration of the Faculty and in particular responsible for quality and programme administration systems and processes. You will contribute to policy formulation at Faculty and University level. You will lead specific strategic and operational developments at a Faculty level and will collaborate with other University managers in the formulation and development of systems and regulations, the student record replacement project being a prime example.
The right candidate brings innovation and creativity with excellent leadership and motivational skills, honed through experience of leading teams and delivering change through others, being well-informed as to the development of supporting student administrative infrastructure within higher/further education institutions.
You will be able to demonstrate excellence as a team player, and an ability to problem solve and plan work at the operational and strategic level. Through the establishment of relationships and networks you will quickly facilitate cross-functional decisions with impact across the University, providing guidance and training on academic and student administrative activities and associated policies and procedures.
