This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Administrator to join the Clinical Liaison Team in the Faculty of Health, who strive to deliver high quality customer service.
The Team:
The Clinical Liaison Team is responsible for providing comprehensive management and administration of the medical and dental schools' clinical placements. The focus of the team is on clinical provider liaison and engaging with the wider health community. We are currently seeking to appoint a highly motivated, well organised individual to take up the post of Assistant Administrator (Timetabling) to help support the delivery of our medical (BMBS) curriculum.
The Role:
You will be responsible for the delivery of comprehensive and confidential administration, working with academic staff on the scheduling of workshops and plenaries and liaising with internal and external providers who deliver these sessions.
This is a permanent part-time position working 30 hours per week, or 4 days. We are happy for this to be worked as 4 full days or 5 shorter days. The post will be located at the John Bull Building, Plymouth Science Park, Derriford, Plymouth. The team has informal arrangements for partial remote working, and we are happy to discuss this with interested applicants.
The Person:
You will need good communication skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will have the ability to work as part of a team as teamwork is paramount in the Clinical Liaison Team. Good IT skills are also essential, particularly good working knowledge of Excel, Outlook and some knowledge of PowerPoint.
