About the role
The University is undertaking a programme of work to implement our new Student Record System, SITS. The scope of the programme is focussed on providing a modern and flexible student record system with a key emphasis on rationalising and standardising student-related processes. As part of this programme we are looking for an experienced Engagment and Communications Assistant to join our SRS People Change team. This is varied role at the heart of one of the University's most exciting projects.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal, organisational and collaborative working skills as well as creativity, proactivess and the ability to effectively communicate with a range of audiences.
Key responsibilities will include maintaining an up-to-date intranet site, creating bulletins, briefings, posters and other collateral as well as creating engaging visual and audio content for staff and students.
This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a fixed-term basis until 31st December 2025 due to business demand.
For this role, you will need to be on site 3 days a week. Although we can acommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.
