About the role
A new exciting opportunity has been designed to support businesses and individuals from all sectors access the breadth of knowledge, services and opportunities available to them from University of Plymouth.
Enterprise Solutions is both proactive in promoting opportunities and reactive to inbound enquiries for University services. The role will provide the connectivity between industry, our academics and technicians within the University to enable businesses and partners to use our state-of-the-art equipment and advanced knowledge.
You will work under the guidance of the Head of Enterprise & Commercialisation as a member of the team where you will be responsible for helping businesses access our world class facilities whilst taking a lead as appropriate with colleagues and peers across the University to plan and achieve joint projects and objectives. Through your activities you will provide a positive customer journey to academics and external organisations seeking to work with the University of Plymouth via a number of initiatives that drive impact. The role will match businesses, public sector organisations and third sector groups to a range of services offered by University of Plymouth to generate new research collaborations, commercial income opportunities and partnerships.
Experience of business development and project management is essential for this role as is the ability to work with a range of partners.
For this role, you will need to be on site 3 days a week. Although we can acommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a fixed-term basis due to Business Demand.
