About the role
Peninsula Medical School is looking to appoint a Lecturer in Radiography. You will contribute to teaching and assessment across a range of programmes, and your enthusiasm for your subject will extend to providing high quality teaching and mentoring, informed by excellent scholarship and your own experience.
You will work in close conjunction with colleagues within the Faculty, NHS and Independent sector to deliver a high-quality student learning experience across the programmes. This is an ideal opportunity for applicants who may wish to continue with their clinical role whilst developing their academic career.

To contribute to teaching and assessment across our programmes, delivering a high quality, research-led and professionally relevant education.
Work as a team member, developing productive relationships with colleagues and leading modules, programmes and activities where appropriate.
Provide academic and pastoral care through the role of personal or link tutor, where appropriate.
Supervise students on projects and/or placements, including clinical or professional practice. Ensuring that a high-quality learning and research environment is provided.

What we’re looking for
We’re looking for an experienced diagnostic radiographer with a strong interest in teaching motivated to support learners and colleagues to achieve their full potential.
Qualifications/Education:
You will have experience in healthcare research, service and quality improvement or as a clinical scientist or registered radiographer
Experience:
You will have recent, relevant clinical and teaching experience, with the potential to engage in relevant research
Attributes:
You will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail and excellent communication skills
You must currently be registered with the following registration board: Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC): excluding social workers in England
