Plymouth University is seeking to appoint a new lecturer in Engineering Geology to join one of the most successful Earth Science groups in the UK and complement our existing strengths in research and teaching.
You should have a track record of either active research or industrial practice in Engineering Geology.
You will be part of the Centre for Research in Earth Sciences (http://www.plymouth.ac.uk/research/cres ) and will benefit from an environment that promotes high quality, novel and interdisciplinary research.
In addition to research and/or consultancy, you will also contribute to teaching in Engineering Geology, and in the broader field of Earth Sciences (including fieldwork). They will be expected to build links with industry in order to support student employability initiatives and industrial placements.
This is a permanent full-time position working 37 hours per week.
