This is an exciting chance to work as part of an interdisciplinary team of academics from the University of Plymouth, the London School of Economics and the University of East Anglia on a national mixed-methods research project. This role is based in Plymouth, though you will be carrying out significant parts of the role in West Cornwall. You will therefore have the opportunity to work autonomously, but with comprehensive support from your manager in Plymouth and in partnership with a respected civil society organisation in Cornwall.
A Research Assistant is required to work on an Economic and Social Research Council funded project entitled, ‘Gypsy and Traveller Experiences of Crime and Justice Since the 1960s’ being completed by the University of Plymouth, the University of East Anglia and the London School of Economics. Under the guidance of Dr Zoë James and as a member of the team, you will be responsible for the delivery of research support to the project, undertaking research, including literature and database searches and providing research and administrative support to the academic colleagues responsible for the project.
