The UK Outreach team within the Marketing and Communications Directorate is responsible for the recruitment of undergraduates and postgraduate students and for providing opportunities to underrepresented groups to access higher education.
With a focus on students interested in STEM subjects, this exciting role will be responsible for a customer focused, cost effective and efficient STEM outreach service aligned to the Faculty of Science and Engineering objectives. In addition, you will support operational delivery of the University's strategic Access and Participation Plan.
You will lead, develop and maintain a defined area of expertise in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths related subject level outreach, Faculty based initiatives, student recruitment events and access to higher education outreach interventions.
You will oversee the operational delivery of a programme of activities with schools, colleges and other organisations, both on and off campus and virtually to attract UK students to Plymouth.
You will respond to enquiries assisting potential students and those who influence them in making a well-informed choice of university and programme. You will liaise with colleagues across the faculty and wider University and build relationships with external stakeholders primarily Teachers, Career Advisers, Parents and Supporters.
