The School of Nursing and Midwifery at University of Plymouth is seeking to appoint an additional Midwifery Lecturer to join the team and further enhance our teaching excellence and research capacity in this area of strategic importance in health care.
We provide an excellent standard of midwifery education in the beautiful South West of England and are committed to building and sustaining effective partnerships in programme development to meet workforce need, excellence in teaching, innovation and co-produced research.

Existing clusters of research, including e-health and Sustainability, Society and Heath, continue to attract external funding and PhD students.
You will contribute to the academic and clinical development of Midwifery. This will include the development and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate healthcare programmes. You will also be encouraged to contribute to research within the School, and join an appropriate research group.
You should possess appropriate professional qualifications; registration as a Midwife with the NMC is essential, relevant post registration experience as Midwife, a Degree in health or a related subject, relevant post graduate qualifications (MSc or evidence of working towards) and be willing to work towards an NMC recordable teaching qualification.
