Plymouth University currently has several vacancies for Assistant Administrators, working within the Finance Operations Team in the Directorate of Finance & Sustainability.
As a key member of this team you will help to provide a high-quality, effective and responsive service to customers throughout the University. In particular, you will be responsible for, collating and processing information to provide meaningful reports, reconciliations and documents for financial analysis. You will communicate regularly and work closely with colleagues at all levels as well as students and external and internal customers to deal with enquiries and requests and provide accurate information. You will be required to attend and take minutes at a variety of finance led meetings. Regular monitoring and updating the finance databases and policies will be required along with keeping the intranet community pages up to date.
You may be required to work in a number of different finance areas within the Finance Operations Team, such as, Credit Control & Tuition Fees, Finance Governance, Purchase to Payments and Income Office.
You will have a high standard of numeracy and literacy, excellent communication skills and demonstrable experience of providing a high-quality service to customers and experience of the University's Finance system Agresso is desirable. In addition to this, you will have an advanced working knowledge of IT packages including Microsoft Excel and Word.
