An exciting opportunity has become available to work with the School of Health Professions as a lecturer in neurological physiotherapy. We currently offer a range of programmes delivered in excellent modern facilities and we have a growing reputation in learning, teaching, research and enterprise. The BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy programme is ranked 8th in the Complete University Guide.
As a lecturer at the University of Plymouth, you will be expected to deliver excellent teaching, and ideally also contribute to the generation and transfer of knowledge through research. You will also provide support for the students on our programmes.
You will be a registered physiotherapist with appropriate academic and/or professional experience in the field of neurological physiotherapy. You will have an in depth understanding of contemporary cardiorespiratory practice and a higher degree, preferably a PhD.
The research potential within the School is huge as we have collaboration possibilities within the Faculty of Health and Human Sciences as well as other faculties in the university. We also have established links with colleagues in the health and social care sector, the independent sector and private sector. The School has a growing number of registered PhD students and a growing research and enterprise portfolio.
