This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated administrator to join the Clinical Liaison Team at the Plymouth University Peninsula Schools of Medicine and Dentistry.
The Clinical Liaison Team is responsible for providing comprehensive management and administration of the medical and dental schools' clinical placements. We are currently seeking to appoint a highly motivated, well organised individual to take up the post of Administrator. You will co-ordinate medical student Year 5 placements and supporting academic programme, support the organisation of dental placements and organise placements for external students on placement in Derriford Hospital. You will be expected to liaise with providers from partner organisations about placements and teaching and maintain the student digital learning environment. In addition, you will help arrange provider payments and collect student feedback.
You will be responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive and confidential service and assist in the development of a customer focused, integrated, cost effective and progressive administration support service for the Peninsula Schools of Medicine and Dentistry. The post will be located at the John Bull Building, Plymouth Science Park, Derriford, Plymouth.
This is a part-time post working 18.5 hours per week over three days (Monday - Wednesday) on a fixed-term basis to cover a period of maternity leave anticipated for 6 months in the first instance.
