This is an exciting and influential role working across the organisation but based within the Human Resources Directorate, reporting directly to the Health Safety and Wellbeing Manager. You will provide generalist Health Safety and Wellbeing professional advice and guidance underpinned by up to date understanding of legislation, policy, theory and practice, providing advice, guidance and support for customers at all levels.
You will understand the business needs, and work with colleagues and leaders across the whole University to implement, develop and maintain the policies, procedures and guidance required to ensure the University complies effectively with Health and Safety legislation and best practice
You will act as a ‘Competent Advisor’ as required by regulation 7 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
