UCSP working within Plymouth University are seeking a Chef de Partie to work within their catering and Hospitality team.
The role involves preparing, cooking and serving high quality meals, made fresh using local suppliers and the best raw ingredients; we need chefs with proven culinary and service skills who can work as a team or on their own with confidence, ownership and a clear focus. A good knowledge of cost controls and Health & Safety responsibilities is also required.
This is a hands on role reporting to the Executive Head Chef. You will have a real passion for food and innovation. Your dishes will be presented to the highest standard in terms of colour, content, balance, freshness and flavour; whether for retail or our VIP hospitality customers.
The role offers a great work life balance with flexible and changing hours generally observing, but not limited to term time shifts and will include evening and weekend work. This is a part-time post working 30 hours per week on a permanent basis.
