We wish to appoint a post-doctoral Research Fellow with specialist research knowledge and expertise to support urological cancer translational research within the Plymouth University Peninsula Schools of Medicine and Dentistry.
You will be expected to conduct innovative research which will significantly update knowledge and understanding in the field of cancers. The primary function of the role is to work on translational research in urological cancers by performing independent and collaborative research, co-ordinating research and evaluation of activities, and developing a suitable protocol to enable translational research in urological cancers.
You will have a first degree and master's degree in a relevant discipline and also be educated to PhD level or equivalent with demonstrable experience in a relevant discipline.
You will have a developing track record of publishing your own research, along with advanced knowledge of research methods and design, and specialist knowledge of urological cancers.
This is a Full Time position working 37 hours per week for a Fixed Term period of 2 years from appointment. You will be based within the Plymouth University Peninsula Schools of Medicine and Dentistry.
