We are looking for an inspirational individual to join the well-established, progressive Paramedic team at the University of Plymouth. Working within the team provides a unique opportunity to contribute to teaching, learning and research within Paramedic Sciences, on a recently revised programme.
As a lecturer at the University of Plymouth, we expect you to deliver excellent teaching, contribute to the generation and transfer of knowledge through research, and provide support for the students. The position will include teaching at all stages of undergraduate study and involvement with the postgraduate paramedicine offer. The role will also involve teaching other disciplines within the School of Health Professions across various inter-professional modules.
You will be a registered professional with appropriate academic and/or professional experience. You will have an in-depth understanding of the contemporary experience of your profession and have be committed to quality education and research.
You will value your own professional development, may hold or be working towards a higher degree qualification and may have a publication profile.
The School of Health Professions is primarily situated in purpose built high quality accommodation in the Peninsula Allied Health Centre, which is based within the campus of the University of St Mark & St John (Marjon). We also use a range of facilities in the main campus on the Drake Circus site. There are advanced plans to relocate the School and all of its teaching activities to the main campus by 2021/22.
