The School of Geography, Earth & Environmental Sciences, within the Faculty of Science & Engineering, wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Physical Chemistry to teach Physical Chemistry to undergraduates studying in BSc (Hons) Chemistry, MChem Analytical Chemistry and MSc Analytical Chemistry programmes.
In addition, you will be expected to conduct research in physical chemistry applied to environmental and/or industrial problems as part of the Biogeochemistry Research Centre. You will possess a BSc and PhD in physical chemistry or closely allied subject, and will be expected to be able to demonstrate an excellent track record of physical chemistry-related post-doctoral research with an appropriate record of research publications and experience. In addition, evidence of a successful teaching record in physical chemistry is desirable.
