We are looking to appoint an appropriately qualified and experienced candidate to contribute to teaching excellence related to Adult Nursing and research in the clinical environment. We offer undergraduate, postgraduate and CPD programmes. Research in the School was rated highly in the REF2014 and continues to grow. The Plymouth University Clinical Schools initiative is an exciting development, through which applied nursing and midwifery research focuses on topics that are timely and relevant to advancing the quality of care. Existing clusters of research, including Applied Health Genetics, e-health and Sustainability, Society and Heath, continue to attract external funding and PhD students.
You will contribute to the academic and clinical development of Adult Nursing. This will include the development and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate healthcare programmes. You will also be encouraged to contribute to research within the School, and join an appropriate research group.
You should possess appropriate professional qualifications, registration as an Adult Nurse with the NMC is essential, relevant post registration experience as a nurse, a Degree in health or a related subject, relevant post graduate qualifications and an NMC recorded teaching qualification (or be willing to work to achieve this).
This is a Full Time Position working 37 hours per week on a Permanent basis. You will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
