The University of Plymouth, a leading university in the south west, is seeking to recruit an IT Service Operations Manager to head up the 1st Line, 2nd Line and AV teams in IT Customer Services, part of Technology and Information Services (TIS).
Reporting to the Head of IT Service Operations, you will support and guide the 1st and 2nd Line Support Team Managers and the AV Team Lead in delivering customer focused support and services to staff across the University.
You will be responsible for maintaining and developing IT Support processes, procedures and tools, and will drive innovation in all aspects of IT Support.
You will bring a thorough understanding, knowledge and experience of delivering or managing IT Support services. You will also have some knowledge of the key concepts and guiding principles of the ITIL framework, and experience of managing a team which delivers customer focused services.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
