The Student Recruitment and Admissions department is a dynamic, thriving and crucial area of the University dealing with a range of applications during periods of high intensity. A proactive and enthusiastic individual is required to join the team with responsibility for Undergraduate and Postgraduate admissions as well as all enquiries coming in to the department.
Under the direction of the relevant Admissions Team Leader and as a member of the team, you will contribute to the delivery of a customer focused, cost effective and efficient admissions & enquiries service.
This post is placed in a team with a diverse range of responsibilities including database work, assessing applications and liaising with staff and applicants. You will need to be flexible, willing to engage with the work and capable of prioritising and organising your workload effectively, following the direction of the Team Leader.
It is essential that you have good IT skills, excellent communication skills, experience of working within an office environment, the ability to multitask and attention to detail. An understanding of or experience in University admissions processes would also be desirable.
This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
