A proactive and enthusiastic individual is required to join the South West National Collaborative Outreach Programme (SWNCOP).
This is a unique opportunity to assist the SWNCOP central team in the organisation of outreach activities to secondary school students through a collaborative project of key stakeholders, comprising universities and FE/HE colleges in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. This programme is funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) to encourage awareness of, and access to, Higher Education for identified individuals from target groups in schools where progression to HE is low.
You will liaise with colleagues across the SWNCOP. Duties will include setting up meetings and taking notes; updating and maintaining computer records and organising travel arrangements for staff. This post is based at University of Plymouth, and will have guidance and reporting requirements from the central SWNCOP team based at University of Plymouth.
The post is fixed-term, in the first instance until December 2018.
