This is an exciting opportunity to join the team managing the Cornwall Innovation Centres, as part of a long term contract delivered by University of Plymouth on behalf of Cornwall Council.
The three Innovation Centres located at Truro, Penryn and Camborne offer high quality, flexible office accommodation to facilitate the development of innovative, high growth and knowledge based businesses.
Applications are invited for a Business Development Manager to work under the guidance of the Head of Cornwall Innovation Centres and be part of the local management team. You will be responsible for delivering all sales and marketing activity across the three Innovation Centres in order to meet occupancy and revenue targets. This includes website updates and social media and wider networking activity ensuring that offices, meeting rooms and other related services across the three Cornwall Innovation Centres are fully utilised.
In addition you will have some line management responsibility as part of your role in maximising event and meeting room activity in each Innovation Centre. You will be based at one of the Centres to suit but you will be required to travel between all the Cornwall Innovation Centres.

This is a full time position working 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis and is based at Pool Innovation Centre, Pool, Redruth, Cornwall where free on-site parking is available.
It is expected that this role will require occasional flexibility and you will need to be able to travel occasionally between Innovation Centre sites.
