As a Senior Operations Analyst you will be responsible for the provision of third line support, maintenance and optimisation of the university’s applications and infrastructure.
You will focus on one or more of the following: data, servers and storage, back up and disaster recovery, security, networks and telephony, desktop applications and operating systems, business applications, middleware (including email systems, online collaboration services, intranet, identity management and print services). As a Senior Operations Analyst, you will work on more complex assignments and may have line management responsibilities for Operations Analysts.
Ensuring staff are clear on their part in delivering results and are set up for success, and understand that through their activities each individual contributes to a positive student experience, supporting students throughout their journey, from enquiry to alumni, providing a culture that engages students as genuine partners with the University of Plymouth. You will have experience of providing IT support and or maintaining IT systems, along with experience of supporting a range of infrastructure technologies and complex infrastructure environments. Experience of managing third party relationships is essential, along with an aptitude for analysing and managing problems that arise.

These are full-time positions working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
