Working within a multidisciplinary team of core education-focussed academic staff, you will co-lead and deliver, coordinate and develop the anatomical components of our clinical programmes: undergraduate Medicine, Diagnostic Radiography BSc and Physician Associate MSc). This approach has led to an innovative, effective curriculum design without a reliance on cadaveric dissection.
You will take on a variety of education-focussed roles within the medical school, including both small group and large group facilitation, curriculum development, coordination of course delivery, academic tutoring, and student-selected unit delivery. There are also opportunities to contribute to our widening participation activities and other health related programmes delivered within the Faculty. Research activity will not be a mandatory part of the role but would be encouraged for appropriately qualified and motivated candidates by mutual agreement.
Applications are welcomed from education-focussed individuals who are motivated towards a successful career in anatomy and clinical education scholarship / research. You would be expected to undertake educational research, an activity supported within the school, and would join an active and friendly team of educational scholars and pedagogical researchers.
