The Estates and Facilities directorate is seeking to appoint an experienced Head of Sustainability for a fixed-term Maternity cover to start early January 2022.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Senior Management Team in the Estates and Facilities directorate, a busy, customer focused environment. Reporting into the Director of Estates and Facilities the role holder will be responsible for leading the University’s sustainability and climate emergency (net zero) programme; to deliver and develop a comprehensive, integrated, cost effective and progressive sustainability service. Although based in Estates and Facilities the role works across all areas of the University to maintain cross departmental links to support the delivery of the sustainability strategy.

This post will be located on the University’s Plymouth City campus. The University supports flexible working where possible and requests will be considered, including those to work remotely. As this is a senior role there will be a requirement to work regularly on campus to ensure collegiality.
This is a full-time post working 37 hours a week on a fixed term basis for 12 months or until the return of the post holder, whichever is earlier.
