The role is designed to support the growing apprenticeship provision at the University of Plymouth. The work will be integrated within the Central Apprenticeship Hub team. Your key focus will be to support the monitoring of the progress of the apprentice as they work toward an Apprenticeship Standard. This will include meeting with apprentices in their workplace and their managers to also monitor the progress of the apprentice in the workplace.
Apprenticeship Reviewers are a crucial interface between the apprentice, the employer and the University.
Experience of apprenticeship review work, employer engagement and skills development work is needed for this post. You will have a sound understanding of apprenticeships and an excellent understanding and experience of working with employers. Experience of working in a customer service environment is advantageous and experience of using Forskills and e-portfolios desirable. As this post will require you to manage a caseload of health-related apprenticeships experience of working in or an understanding of the NHS sector would be advantageous.
You will be based at the Emdeck building which is situated of main campus at Pennycomequick

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
