Software Cornwall are working with the University of Plymouth Centre for Health Technology and offer exciting opportunites to be part of a new, progressive, and cutting-edge area of research. The eHealth Productivity and Innovation in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly (EPIC2) project has been funded for a further three years by the European Regional Development Fund. EPIC has already had considerable success in developing the eHealth sector in Cornwall. Software Cornwall is a major partner in the new EPIC2 project and will be supporting business to develop in the eHealth sector.
You will be employed by the University of Plymouth but will work closely with Software Cornwall and other teams working to develop the technology capacity in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The post is full-time and based at the Health and Wellbeing Innovation Centre in Truro and is offered on a fixed term to 31/1/2023. Applications from people wishing to job share or maintain other flexible arrangements are welcome. You will work closely with the EPIC2 Business Engagement Manager (BEM) and will be required to undertake substantial travel across Cornwall.
A current full driving licence, access to a vehicle and willingness to travel is desirable as you will be required to travel to remote areas not easily accessible by public transport.
