We are looking to recruit an energetic and innovative Lecturer in Drama to work within our dynamic theatre team, in partnership with Theatre Royal Plymouth. You will be expected to teach across the undergraduate and postgraduate theatre curriculum, which includes Drama, Acting and Musical Theatre degrees. In line with the pioneering curriculum of our new School of Society and Culture, we are actively seeking candidates with professional and teaching expertise in one or more of these areas: digital performance cultures and practices, immersive/interactive theatre-making, contemporary performance politics and practice.
You will contribute to the department's vibrant research culture and group, and will have a strong research track record (appropriate to career stage). All applicants will need to demonstrate that they have excellent interpersonal skills and will work effectively both independently and as part of a team with colleagues, students, and internal, and external associates.
