The School of Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences invites you to apply for a Lectureship in Human Geography at the University of Plymouth.
Geography at Plymouth is a large and successful subject area, comprising 25 full-time academic staff, and enjoying excellent support from well-resourced laboratory facilities in geospatial analysis and physical geography. As well as breadth and depth in Geography, we have strong academic links across the institution with, for example, the University's Marine Institute and the cross-disciplinary Sustainable Earth Institute.
You will be an enthusiastic team player, and your enthusiasm for your subject will extend to providing excellent teaching at undergraduate and, potentially, postgraduate levels, informed by professional practice, scholarship and your own research experience. You will be developing a track record of excellent academic research, commensurate with the level of appointment, and compatible with REF UoA 14. You will benefit from a positive and collegiate working environment that values and promotes excellence in all academic activities.
