The School of Geography, Earth & Environmental Sciences, within the Faculty of Science & Engineering, wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Chemistry to teach inorganic and environmental analytical chemistry to undergraduates and postgraduates studying on BSc (Hons) Chemistry, MChem Analytical Chemistry and MSc Analytical Chemistry programmes. In addition, you will be expected to conduct research in chemistry applied to inorganic/analytical problems as part of the Biogeochemistry Research Centre.
You will possess a BSc and PhD in chemistry or closely allied subject, and will be expected to be able to demonstrate an excellent track record of post-doctoral research in inorganic analytical chemistry, with an appropriate record of research publications and experience. In addition, evidence of a successful teaching record in chemistry is desirable.
