The School of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics within the Faculty of Science and Engineering is seeking to appoint an appropriate individual to strengthen and complement our technical support team. You must be able to demonstrate a significant commitment to, and have experience, specifically within the broad area of Mechanical Materials testing.
You will be required to support a broad range of activities which includes undergraduate projects, teaching, research, outreach activities. This post will provide good opportunities to contribute to the growth of the Materials Characterisation Testing facility with specific emphasis in developing and growing the facility as we move towards the New Engineering Design Facility (NEDF).
You are required to have at least a HND or equivalent in a relevant subject or a suitable time served apprenticeship within this unique area.
You will be expected to liaise with various academic and support staff concerned with both teaching and research and work as a member of a team.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis. Some flexible working hours may be required.
