We are seeking to appoint an experienced Research Information Officer, working within the Research Support and Development team, facilitating our commitment to strong social engagement and world class research.
You will work closely with the Head of the team and lead the development and maintenance of research related information systems to underpin the University's strategic research areas. Specifically you will be responsible for providing information, support and advice relating to research data information, submission resources, research data/information requirements of external bodies and website resources.
This is a varied and stimulating role with the opportunity to take on departmental leadership and representative roles including attending external research information and policy meetings on behalf of the University. Using your knowledge you will also support internal initiatives to prepare Faculties and Schools for the Research Excellence Framework (REF) expected in 2021, assisting with roll-out activities and staff training to implement research information systems required for REF.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 37 hours per week.
