The Medical Statistics group, based in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Plymouth, provides a methodological platform and support for large-scale and wide-ranging clinical trials and research projects. The group's research encompasses clinical trials and pragmatic health services research (e.g. RCTs of medicinal products and complex interventions) and biomedical and clinical studies (e.g. screening and diagnostics; longitudinal studies), with strong links with the Faculty's clinical trials and population studies and biomedical research groups.
