The University of Plymouth Careers Service is recruiting a Careers and Employability Consultant to join our busy faculty engagement team. The Careers Service offers a comprehensive range of Faculty/School and centrally co-ordinated activities, opportunities and support for students to help them develop their skills and experiences in order to be successful in the world of work.
You will be responsible for the provision of careers and employability consultancy, including careers information, advice, expertise and guidance alongside supporting work-based learning and other employability interventions with the aim of raising the aspirations of students and ensuring their success.
You will work closely with academics in Faculties, Schools and Professional Services colleagues and act as a broker for careers and employability provision that holistically enable Faculties and Schools to achieve their aims. You will also connect students with University-wide initiatives, programmes and wider employability opportunities.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
Flexible working options including job share will be considered.
